WOODEN WINE BOX SOMMOS ALQUEZ + GLASSWARE

Who isn't happy to receive a good bottle of wine as a gift? Our wooden boxes are beautifully engraved with our retail name Fresca and contain an even more beautiful bottle of wine along with a pair of robust yet elegant wine glasses. Suitable for both red and white wine, these glasses boast the Sommos name and logo depicting their iconic avant-garde winery. The olives for 2 are an added bonus!

The selected red wine, Alquez de Sommos Garnarcha Viñedos Antiquos punches well above it's weight - the appealing natural textured paper label hinting at the finesse of the wine inside. The 60+ year old vines produce less than 1kg of grapes per plant. The grapes are hand-harvested, chilled, then sorted on selection tables, removing any unwanted bunches. The wine is aged for 12 months in medium-toasted French oak barrels before release, imparting a great complexity of wood and spice flavours. This is a full, rich wine with well integrated tannins and flavours of dark plum and cherry. Enjoy with a nice cheese or a good meal.
